Created: This Gurudwara was constructed in the memory of the tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji of the Sikhs. Guru Gobind Singh ji had taken shelter here while he was traveling along with his fellow soldiers to Anandpur Sahib from Paonta Sahib after he defeated the Mughals in the Bhangani fight in the year 1688. A person named Nadu Shah Lubana served Guru and his admirers and offered them milk and food. Later on, this place has been located and a platform is raised by Bhai Motha Singh from the village nearby.

About the place: This sacred place is one of the very important religious places for the Sikhs. Though the exact date of the construction of this Gurudwara and details about Bhai Motha Singh is not known but the shrine has been treated as one of the most sacred places since its discovery. Since it was taken over by the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee in 1956, several new constructions are made around the original Manji Sahib. A dome is built in the place of original Manji Sahib. This dome is a double storeyed and there is a meeting hall there which is rectangular in shape. There is a holy flag always flying on the top of the 105 feet high structure on one side of the courtyard. Every day, religious meetings and community meals are arranged here. On the full moon day, thousands of devotes gather here from all over the north India.
